Star Ranch Nudist Resort
Star Ranch has always been a haven and refuge for those seeking peaceful tranquility in a rustic setting. Remarkable, since they are located just outside Texas’ capital city – Austin, putting us within easy reach of a large population center. Star Ranch is a year-round facility offering social and recreational activities as well as hospitality for those seeking fun, solitude or a combination of both.
The Sahnoans at Star Ranch is a family-oriented nudist community/club that has been in operation since 1957, the oldest in Texas. Dedicated to maintaining a wholesome and safe environment for the enjoyment of nudist activities, the Club is a member in good standing of The Naturist Society (TNS), the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and AANR-Southwest. The facility encompasses 112 acres with just over half of that developed for the enjoyment of all. The remaining pasture land provides walking or nature space.
Amenities:
Star Ranch is an incredible property which is dedicated to enjoyment of nude recreation. Facilities include Tara Hall which provides a number of amenities for all to enjoy indoor activities such as pool, darts, ping-pong, card and board games, shuffleboard, TV watching or just sitting by the fireplace on a cold day.

Pool:
The Crown Jewel of Star Ranch is our recently renovated Outdoor Pool. Recently rennovated with upgrades taht include: new energy-efficient pumps, new filters, eight jets and four returns, cut-in benches, a fountain, background music system, stainless steel ladders and water-volleyball poles and limestone cap all around.
Sports & Activity Facilities:
Surrounding the Pool are the primary outdoor game areas including Water Volleyball, Tennis court with a pickleball court overlay, Two Petanque courts, Two horseshoe courts, Four washer courtsa and two sand volleyball courts.
Recreation Pavilions:
Star Ranch has three pavilions where our members and guests can shelter from the sun. The newly completed Nekkid Parrot pavilion is where we can serve large crowds during the warmer months.
Overnight Lodging and RV Facilities:
RV Row is used by weekenders and other guests “passing through”.
We offer 30 amp and 50 amp service, as well as water and sewer connections at each site. Rental Cabins are scattered throughout the property, available for our guests as needed. Directly next to the outdoor pool is our tent camping area. Some sites even have water and electricity.
All first-time visitors to the Star Ranch gated community must present a valid photo ID at our office. A valid driver’s license with picture is required for all adults who wish to enter. No photography or video recording. No explicit sexual behavior in public areas. Management reserves the right of removing guests without refund for any resort violations.
"Long time past visitor – first visit in 1971. Visited over the years with my first wife (7 yrs), no kids. Then later with my 2nd wife (46 yrs) and two children – ages 7 and 11. . .first nudist opportunity – they loved it. Outstandingly friendly members, rustic, calming environment – you can join the crowd anywhere, i.e. pool, or you can find outlying quiet parts of the woods to just to relax, jog, etc. We have not been for a while due to health but we miss it.
