"This is by far the most immaculate kept RV nudest resort I have ever come across, and the prices are more then fair. You get your money’s worth and more.
What a great place to enjoy the sun and the company of others. Love it!" – Gary from Minnesota

"My wife and I have visited several nude resorts across America. Sandpipers is number one for us, and we are returning in 2017. We have a 70-foot long 5th wheel/truck combo and was no problem parking. Sites were paved and perfectly level. Lawn care was excellent the month we visited. Everyone we met extended their welcome and several have grown to be great friends. Maria and Karen were great. Always smiling and always a wealth of information. We cannot say enough about our stay. It was more than we had hoped for." – Bill from Arizona

"Sandpiper is, by far. . .the best landed nudist resort in Texas, if not the USA. Becky and I have visited often during the past year and we have made wonderful friends with many of the permanent / seasonal residents. We aren’t RV’ers, but we are frequent, temporary guests who always stay in the guest house, usually for a week at a time. We truly wouldn’t think of going to any other resort to relax and be naked among like-minded adults.

Owner Karen and hubby live on site, and they have done a masterful job developing and promoting this property. The guest house, with four large, attractive apartments, is always clean and inviting, and Karen and staff go to great lengths to keep it that way. The pool is huge and gorgeous, as is the hot tub, and the entire area is always furnished comfortably and well maintained.

Maria is Karen’s ramrod and site manager, and she is literally a real hoot! She’s a totally capable property manager and activity organizer, and her bubbly personality is inescapable. Anyone who ever needs or wants anything goes to Maria, and she never fails to come thru with the goods!

Sandpiper is NOT clothing optional, at least in the pool and common shower areas, and we wouldn’t have it any other way – no clothing allowed . . . period. Better yet, there is a total absence of gawkers, cameras, obnoxious millennials and judgmental attitudes. Everyone is almost always nude, clearly comfortable in their own skin, and warmly receptive of anyone who chooses to become a part of this close-knit community. Becky and I like to believe that we have done just that.

If you want an uncrowded, laid-back nudist environment, go during the summer months. The winter Texans have gone back North, and only the hard-core permanent residents remain. Yes, the South Texas / Rio Grande heat and humidity can be oppressive that time of year, even to 30-year veterans of this climate like us. But the AC in the guest rooms provides quick refuge when the sweat gets in your eyes. We totally love this place, and we don’t hesitate to make the 5-hour trek from Houston as often as possible." – Dave from Houston, Texas

"Wife and I stayed in one of 4 apartments on site, just to check the resort out. The apartments were clean and had everything we needed and more. We are going back for 5 months this winter. We have ordered a new RV and will spend the winter at Sandpiper. The apartments are the way to go if you only have a short time to stay. Great people, great pool area." – Dan from Alaska

"Love this place. Folks are friendly and always offering a hand to help or a place to stop by and visit. The resort is well kept and the owners go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. If you are bored here, it is your own fault as there is something going on from 9AM on, almost every day. Water Volley Ball is a must and never anything but fun in the water. Once you visit you will be back." – Robert from Kansas

"Great weather! Friendly people! Nice facilities, but some door latches don’t work, some restrooms are locked closed and some buildings don’t have restrooms. Dark – no lighting on streets or common areas. Grotesque gargoyles at the gate and around every corner – not very welcoming. No WiFi internet – they used to have it in the past but owner decided to cut it? This place is BYOI (bring-your-own-internet) or lug your stuff to the wifi hotspot at the library. Generally enjoyed our stay, but a few shortcomings." – NW from Ohio

"Sandpipers Resort in southern Texas is the friendliest, warmest, and most comfortable place in the USA to spend the cold winter months! My husband and I especially like the busy calendar of events ranging from card games like our favorite Euchre to wine & cheese tastings to bicycle rides that visit neighboring sights to pot lucks to talent shows to just about any kind of wholesome fun you can think of. This is our third visit but we felt so welcomed by the members here on our first visit that we extended from 1 week to 5 weeks that time. This year were spending 5 months. Come on down!" – Pam from North Carolina
