Desert Sun Palm Springs Nudist Hotel Reviews
Desert Sun Resort is the premier Palm Springs Clothing Optional resort offering meticulously landscaped grounds with flowing streams, pools and waterfalls a restaurant and more.

The resort began almost 20 years ago as an 11-room B & B. Desert Sun is now a 92 room Palm Springs clothing optional resort. The original building now called the Courtyard Rooms, are in the original B & B facility. The newer Chaparral Rooms are in the 2-story motel style building adjacent to the main pool. The One-Bedroom Villas are the new condo units and are fabulous. Desert Sun Resort offers 2 pools and spas, a nice restaurant, lounge and spectacular views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Also, a new state of the art Spa for massages and treatments and also a small gym.
The really neat thing about Desert Sun is that you are in a clothing optional resort is right in the heart of Palm Springs. It is less than a mile from downtown. Desert Sun blends the best of both worlds. The atmosphere and people make you feel totally comfortable in the nude behind the walls of the resort. Yet, you can put your clothes back on and walk across the street to fine restaurants and shops.
Desert Sun Resort is located across from Indian Canyon Drive. This street is one of the busiest boulevards in Palm Springs. The side walls provide just enough cover. We told you the resort is right in town! Desert Sun Resort’s Mediterranean style and deluxe accommodations will continue to make this the premier clothing optional Palm Springs resort.
Palm Springs boasts an average 87 degree temperature with 344 humidity-free sunny days per year.

"Seems a while since someone posted a review or updated the info, certainly there’s no nude bridge now! Superb resort with hotel style accommodation plus privately owned apartments and villas. Great atmosphere, I chose this resort because they allow single males. I was very comfortable and chatted to many people and couples without being made to feel I was an unwelcome oddball. Two pools, one designated as an activity pool and the other is in a quieter chill out zone. And a Jacuzzi. Two fire pits to sit round of an evening and lots of space to sunbathe either with others or on your own. Lovely restaurant that also delivers food and drinks poolside or to your room. Cleanliness and hygiene standards are excellent. There is also a small spa, I enjoyed an excellent professional massage. And a tennis court. There is also a “disco” open at weekends with regular organised party and fun nights but I didn’t stay over a weekend so can’t comment. Fabulous resort and being in Palm Springs, fabulous weather." – Graham from The United Kingdom

"This was the second time I had visited the resort. I first visited 10 years ago. It changed dramatically. It is a lovely place. When we arrived we were immediately told we could not bring in any water or soda. Staff was short and one manager obtuse. I asked if we could cancel a prepaid day visit and was told that I could email the manager and she may or might not approve it. To not loose money we stayed. There was limited number of seats. We sat in a back area and listened to residents complaining about their treatment of staff. The place was very busy and it was obvious that others were enjoying themselves. I am just not used to being at any kind of a resort we’re staff patrolled guests to correct for minimal displays of affection. Staff also confiscated water and soda brought into the resort." – Mike from Arizona

"I was really worried about being nude in front of others. I have scars. But in a very short time, I was able to be out in the open at the hot tub and pool. The staff is very professional and made me feel comfortable. The other guests were very friendly. It was so neat that everyone simply became equal, no one stared, gawked or made me feel uncomfortable in the least. We definitely will be back, I’m hooked! I love this freedom. The Desert Sun resort is the place to be, the grounds are spectacular, waterfalls, lush grass, shade trees its beautiful. The three pools are wonderful. There are two hot tubs and two gathering places with firepits and very comfortable seating." – Mary from California

"Had a wonderful time and will be going back for Halloween. We have visited Desert Sun over 50 times and it just gets better. John and Elizabeth are doing a great job and we’ve seen a lot of new faces over the past year. Also, I think younger couples are visiting in larger numbers. The staff is friendly and so are the visitors. Would recommend for first-timers." – Gary from California

"This was our 1st time in Palm Springs and this resort. It was beyond expectations. The staff was very friendly, especially the owner who made sure every guest was taken care of. It was so relaxing, mellow and fun to meet other guests from all over the United States and beyond. This was a long weekend trip and we truly were not ready to leave. Both of us truly came home relaxed, rested and planning the next visit to Desert Sun. Thank you!" – Wendy from Washington
