"We stayed 2 nights, tent camping and Deanza. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay. We’ve even been talking about making a return trip. As a first time expirence at a Nudist Resort, expectations have been set high. Very friendly staff, great hiking trails, and nice amenities." – Tim from Utah

"We decided to use De Anza Nudist Resort as a base for making day trips to San Diego Zoo, Sea World, etc. We arrived the Saturday before Christmas and left New Year’s Day. The staff was friendly but not enough to make up for the other deficiencies. The pool was too cold to comfortably swim in and the hot tub could have been hotter. But, it was the owners who made it a disappointing stay. The residents did the decorating for both Christmas and New Year’s eve. The residents provided all of the Christmas dinner as a potluck. The owners didn’t even walk through and say “Hi”. Reservations were required for New Year’s Eve dinner and those who attended, paid for their dinner. When dinner was served, we were told there were no baked potatoes like we were supposed to have. When the owners came in with friends/relatives (?), they were seated at a special table like royalty and guess what! They had baked potatoes! Will we be back? Probably not." – Ray from Arizona

"A most excellent visit to this clothes free paradise. Warmly welcomed as a traveling single male. I was impressed with the facilities, particularly the gym which was awesome. Lots of free weights and a nice variety of machines. A discount was provided as a first time visitor, and members of AANR get $5 off. Other resorts routinely prohibit men who aren’t with either a spouse or family. This place knows what they’re doing. Be respectful and have a great time." – Michael from Nevada

"We have been to several resorts in two states and De Anza is by far our favorite. So much so that we purchased a membership this January. The staff are great, the grounds are always clean and the visitors as well as residents are so friendly. If the commute wasn’t so long for me, my wife would love to live here full time. The subtle improvements that the staff continue to make are great. And who could forget all the great trails for an awesome nude nature hike (watch out for snakes). We will be members for a very long time." – Richard from California

"I normally will not do a review on anything but this is my exception. My wife’s job kept her busy so I went to De Anza for five exceptional days and nights. I was welcomed from the minute I arrived. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a great family facility this is it. The weekend crowds kept growing on Friday and by Saturday the kids were off and exploring, riding bikes, swimming. The residents always said hello or threw up a wave. This is an older facility that has made great strides in providing a better operation than before. There is a lot of maintenance always and I found everything clean and the pools were sparkling. The outdoor pool was 86 as they have a good solar package for heating the water. BBQ is excellent. If you do this you will miss the big negative, come prepared, all your supplies, food, etc. The closest real store is 40 miles away. If you own a telescope bring it. If you like hiking or rock climbing nude, here is your shot. Say hello to Dave and Helen the owners, nice down home folks." – Ken from California

"Beautiful weather and the nicest people, very comfortable can’t wait to go back. I am hoping the wife will purchase a yearly membership for my birthday. Good hookup for our 23-foot class C motorhome. There are trailers for rent. Played Bingo in clubhouse one night and watched the stars the second night. The sky was very clear and the stars looked like you could almost touch them. Overall just a great fun relaxing place to spend a weekend or week." – Jim from California

"My husband and I had never been to a Clothing Optional Resort prior to De Anza. WOW, what a great experience. This is a family oriented resort with a very laid back, SAFE and relaxing vibe. The surrounding and spacious area is beautiful, rocks, cactus and mountains. The two pools and jacuzzi are kept VERY clean. The food at the Cactus Cafe is delicious AND affordable and the bar has all kinds of drinks available. There is always something to do and the people who live there and the frequent visitors are friendly and welcoming. You would feel very comfortable no matter what your body type and it is glorious to be able to walk around and swim in the nude. My husband and I go there as often as possible and only wish we could buy a place there." – Danielle from California

"This was my first ever experience like this and it was wonderful. Friday night played bingo and sang Karaoke songs. Saturday, nude water volleyball in the indoor pool. The people I met were friendly to a degree I could not have imagined. The owners seem like very nice people as well and joined in the fun in the late afternoon. Shed your inhibitions and go. I just loved it!" – Scott from The USA

"I visited for the first time last September. Moved in full-time in November. Never was a nudist, but found this place to be very good for my soul. People here are friendly and management treats me well. It’s like a whole new world compared to “normal” living. Nudity is fun. Not a sex club or a snooty bunch of people, but mostly happy well adjusted folks. This is the best place to break in to nudism. I don’t have a great body…who cares! Get over your fears and come try it out!" – Billfrom California
