Beautiful Bedrooms at AZ Lagoon del Sol Bed and Breakfast
AZ Lagoon del Sol realizes that our guests want choices and that is why we are clothing optional. Our philosophy is based on common sense. If this is your first time at a clothing optional resort, you may wear something until you are more comfortable. If it is cool in the evening, you are welcome to wear clothes. You have the freedom to wear a shirt, cover-up or bathrobe at any time. It’s common to be a little nervous at first but that usually only lasts for about the first half hour or so. You will find our guests are the nicest couples you will ever meet. You can sunbathe “au naturel” in a very safe, secure, environment. Our first, last and only concern is the comfort of our guests. We want you to feel completely at home and make your stay here a relaxing, luxurious and affordable vacation.
Stayed at Lagoon del Sol – Arizona Bed and Breakfast?
“I stayed at AZ Lagoon del Sol for four days at the end of a long trip abroad. I made the reservation with the intention of having a few days of down time to relax from my intense business trip. I was greeted by my hostess upon my arrival and met her husband a couple of days later. They were warm hosts, very friendly and around only when you needed them. The relaxation I experienced was beyond my expectations and the beautiful surroundings and accommodations greatly added to that experience. The morning meals were beautifully orchestrated and I’m sorry I didn’t bring my camera to the table to take pictures. I was beyond impressed with the 5-star attention I received with my stay, and will most definitely plan a future visit to stay at this resort again in the future. What an absolutely relaxed and awesome time.” – William from Colorado
“Our hosts provided an experience second to none. We loved spending time with them, yet they fully respected my wife’s and my desires to relax together. The resort is located about 2,000 feet above the valley floor, north of Phoenix. A lovely breeze greeted us most days. The view is spectacular of Arizona.
We began each day with a gourmet breakfast cooked and served with grace, care and attention to presentation. The home’s decor theme brings a sense of wonder and embellishes the sensory experience. We will be back and will visit their other resorts.” – Mark from Oregon
“We had a super time at AZ Lagoon Del Sol. Their breakfast is quite tasty. Ask for their apple cheddar bacon egg muffin recipe. We made it again when we got home. Good stuff.” – Denny from Washington
“The house is beautiful, spacious and luxurious inside and out, in a super smart area and our hosts were wonderful. This was the first time we’d stayed in a clothes optional B&B, and they made us feel very comfortable. Their hospitality couldn’t be better. They were so friendly and helpful, whilst being sensitive to the level of interaction or privacy we might want. The breakfasts were fabulous and we were totally pampered. We felt very much at home and were sad to leave.” – Graham from Cardiff, United Kingdom
“WARNING: You may become addicted to this place. I stay here every time I get near Phoenix. As a hospitality consultant, I travel to Arizona often and this is where I always stay. Rating a property as superb in all categories is something I seldom do; I am discerning to say the least. AZ Lagoon Del Sol has it all and it’s all great. A final note: don’t stay away just because it’s summer. This place is very pleasant year-round with the pool, shade, and fabulous hosts (well actually your instant friends).” – Tomas from Colorado
“Webster’s defines ‘Hospitality’ as “Reception and entertainment of strangers and guests with kind and generous liberality.” We cut through the verbosity and define it as “AZ Lagoon del Sol”. We have thoroughly enjoyed our second (and not last) stay at this marvelous B&B. The AZ Lagoon del Sol is appointed with the ultimate amenities well beyond our expectations. How ever exquisite the amenities and atmosphere may be, nothing tops the sense of warmth and hospitality offered by our hosts. They are upbeat, friendly, fun, and as available as we wish them to be. Unlike the more typical B&B, they do not simply supply their absolutely fabulous morning repast and vanish- unless you want them to. They were exceedingly responsive to any dietary constraints and other needs, including any needs we had for companionship and conversation. There is no evaluation ranking high enough, so suffice it to say, “A++, Bravissimo!” Do not miss this one!” – T and P from Illinois
“We stayed 2 nights at the resort before heading down to Tucson. Everything was perfect and a very comfortable environment. The hosts made us feel very welcome and when we left it was like saying goodbye to friends. We especially enjoyed the dinner prepared by and shared with the hosts on our first night. – that was greatly appreciated after a day of travelling. We would recommend this B&B without hesitation.” – Jennie and Jeff from British Columbia
“I did not take any pictures. My stay at the AZ Lagoon del Sol was perfect bliss! The hosts were the perfect hosts in being helpful, friendly, gracious and making you feel like ‘family’ at the first meeting. They even lined me up with tennis opportunities at the nearby country club! Depending on your needs you could enjoy perfect privacy at the pool or in your room or mix with the hosts in conversation, watching TV or just relaxing in their beautiful, elegant and spacious home. I enjoy quiet solitude and their beautifully landscaped and decorated back yard provided the perfect environment to just kick back and relax. After my stay, I was totally at peace with the world! Highly recommended!” – Jim from Seattle
“A perfect experience. The host and hostess are wonderful people and perfect hosts-very easygoing and truly want you to have a restful and relaxing stay. The meals and ambiance were spectacular. The pool/hot tub/lounging was wonderful-we could not ask for more. We look forward to another visit, hopefully soon!” – Val from Island Lake
“We were looking for a weekend away, to relax and reconnect and that is exactly what our stay at LDS did for us. It could have not been more perfect from the hosts, the home, to the food and conversations. Staying at a C/O accommodation was a first for us and we are so glad we chose LDS. The hosts are wonderful, easy going people. Who are great conversationalists, fantastic cooks and truly good company to be around! From the breakfasts on the lanai, to lounging in the pool, and an in-house message they setup for us. It was so much better than staying at a hotel resort. Even the best hotels tend to be a process, LDS on the other hand felt like home! We highly recommend a stay at LDS, you will be happy you did!” – Thomas from Arizona
“We had a great experience at AZ Lagoon del Sol. From the personal code at the front door for entry into the B & B, to the en-suite guest bedroom, butlers pantry, kitchen, family area, game room and exquisite pool area. It was such a private, relaxing experience with full run of the house just like at home. Our hosts were wonderful that in a short amount of time you feel as though you have known them a long time. They served the most scrumptious gourmet breakfasts to be found anywhere! Such great cooks. It was a real treat to just sit back and watch as they performed their kitchen magic. We highly recommend AZ Lagoon del Sol to anyone looking for a relaxing respite from the busy world in a fabulous setting.” – Richard from Oklahoma
“What an amazing experience! Not our first Clothing Optional Resort but it was our first ‘B & B’ visit and will definitely NOT be our last. Lagoon del Sol is an absolute gem and hosted by a terrific couple who managed to ensure our complete enjoyment while very much making us feel “at home. The booking process for our five day stay was painless and even prior to arrival, our host helped plan our “bucket list” adventure in a hot air balloon over the Sedona Desert. Upon our arrival at LDS, we felt instantly welcomed and comfortable. Our room was wonderful with a very comfy bed. All the amenities are amazing including a butler pantry with refrigerator, access to a BBQ and a beautifully landscaped and completely private backyard with salt-water pool and hot tub. The relaxed atmosphere is enhanced with soft jazz music (or of your choice) playing both inside and outside. The daily breakfasts were scrumptious, beautifully presented and a perfect start to our day. With access to local grocery stores, we were also able to prepare our own meals when not “out and about. We have already recommended Lagoon del Sol to friends and are looking forward to our next visit later this year!” – Tony and Maria from Ontario, Canada
“This was our first C-O B&B and it was truly amazing. It was without a doubt the relaxation that we had hoped for. The property and accommodations were top notch and the pool and hot tub were clean and sparkling. Our host was exceptional, knew the right balance for friendly conversation and alone time. Gave us 5-star treatment and the breakfasts were amazing. We will definitely return soon. You will not be disappointed.” – B & J from Tucson, AZ
“If you want a relaxing and enjoyable clothing-optional B&B experience, then look no further – Lagoon del Sol is the place to go. All the positive comments from other reviewers are absolutely true. We spent a week at LDS and can’t imagine how much better it could have possibly been. Thanks to the hosts of LDS for giving us the best clothing optional vacation ever.” – E & F from New Jersey
“We stayed for just a weekend. Two nights and it was a very relaxing experience. Our hosts were very accommodating, friendly and very easy to chat with. We really had everything we needed – the pool was just right, clean, well maintained and just the right temperature; the spa, soothing and relaxing. Because it is a small property, just a two room B&B -there was no need to worry that all the amenities wouldn’t be available. We had full use of the kitchen, handy for making lunches as we just didn’t want to leave this fabulous facility. In future, when we are in the area, we will revisit and will recommend Lagoon del Sol to friends.” – Barbara from Albuquerque NM
“I usually stay at small places — B&B, Inns, boutique hotels — some being C.O. The informal way I judge a place is simple: how badly do I NOT want to leave. So, on a scale of 1-10 where 10 represents the highest desire to not leave, Lagoon del Sol, is a “10” without question. I know the Phoenix area very well and there are certainly plenty of things to do relatively close. Yet everything about LDS speaks to relaxation with encouragement to wind down — without guilt. Thus, I didn’t leave the property until I really had to take a flight back East. The Hosts have the calmest, friendliest demeanor yet full of great information and willing to assist guests in every way for total comfort and relaxation — perfect for when “down-time” is sought after. My biggest decisions were whether to chill in the shade of an umbrella, soak/float in the salt-water pool, lie on a towel on the natural stone deck (great for the back), when would be the best time at night to view the constellations from the hot-tub (a very quiet one at that)… or simply chill out in the expansive living area, maybe hanging out at the ultra-modern kitchen island, chatting with one of the hosts or other guests. Highly recommended.” – A.D. from Exeter, Mass
“We are long time naturists & AANR members. This was our first time booking with the Clothing Optional Home Network. Our experience could not have been more professional from beginning to end. Pictures do not due our hosts home justice. It is an upscale home in all regards. Our room was very private and the bed was fabulous. We had a wonderful breakfast daily. Our hosts were gracious and as available for conversation and information as we wanted. We enjoyed them immensely and continue to hold them in our thoughts and prayers. We highly recommend AZ Lagoon del Sol to both long time naturists as well as those looking for a very private and comfortable first time experience.” – D from Wisconsin
“I stayed for a week… and didn’t want to leave. It was the ultimate relaxation getaway for me. The tranquil atmosphere and spotlessly clean environment gave me time and space to breathe deeply. (Which I needed to do after loading up on their fantastic breakfasts.) The hosts have perfected the delicate skill of providing just the right balance between pleasurable interaction and alone time. There are plenty of things to do and see nearby, but if you elect to spend quiet days by the pool, this is the ideal place to do it. This was my fourth visit. It won’t be my last.” – Dalyce from Calgary, Alberta
“Had a wonderful experience staying for four days at Lagoon del Sol. Well-appointed house, with nice touches all around. VERY comfortable bed, and the pool/spa area was tranquil and inviting. Great times relaxing and sunning, or having light conversation with others guests and hosts. The breakfasts really are top notch – filling and very satisfying. No need for lunch! The hosts make every effort to be sure their guests have a relaxing, stress-free stay. Definitely coming back – highly recommended.” – Alan from Boston
“We were there for 5 days, ending on March 6, 2016. What a great vacation! The home is immaculate inside and out. The hosts are extra friendly and respectful, granting you the level of privacy you choose. The breakfast was great and tailored to your needs. They are excellent conversationalists – never an uncomfortable moment. The bedroom was large and quiet. The backyard was totally private with a large wall all around. Exceptionally quiet neighborhood. Plenty of comfortable seating. You would feel comfortable here if this is your first time at a clothing optional location. Very safe, upscale, gated neighborhood. We were not clothed the entire time we were there, but we would have felt perfectly comfortable either way. So glad we found them.” – Roger from Arizona
“No amount of literature or brochures could have prepared us for the warmth, consideration and comfort we experienced at AZ Lagoon del Sol and received from the hosts. The grounds and furnishings and breakfast were truly world-class. Stargazing from the hot tub was memorable. It was also memorable to awaken early in the morning (3AM) and be able to go outside to a lounge chair and just be one with the stars and the gentle Arizona breeze. I believe that we will never match our experience. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and helpful and quickly became our friends. We had many things in common and found conversation natural and easy. It made our first C-O experience also natural and easy.
If you’re curious about a C-O experience, stay at AZ Lagoon del Sol and experience a laid-back non-threatening initiation. You won’t regret it even if you decide to stay clothed. We are looking forward to our next visit with enthusiasm. Four Thumbs Up!” – Toby from Arizona
“This was our first visit to the beautiful AZ Lagoon Del Sol. The Hosts have created a home network of clothing optional BandBs and their property is truly an example of excellence. The home is spotless and decorated very tastefully. The pool area is amazing. The breakfasts creative and delicious. We highly recommend this experience.” – Sheri and Joe from Washington/California (Snow Birds)
“Very relaxed. Pickle ball was fun. Make sure you try it.” – Tyrone from California
“The room was lovely, the pool was perfect, the meals were delicious and the hosts were gracious and friendly. We had a relaxing vacation and consider this CO BandB top-notch!” – Julie from Arizona
“My husband and I spent a few days at Lagoon del Sol. It was a wonderful escape from real life. Our hosts were very friendly, the house was beautiful and the pool was heavenly. The breakfasts were delicious and the cocktail hours in the pool with wine and appetizers were great. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a couples get away. Phoenix is nice in the summer when your naked!” – Tracy from Arizona
“What an absolutely perfect week it was. My wife and I just spent 5 days at Del Sol Lagoon a clothing optional bed and breakfast. We can not express in strong enough terms how wonderful the experience was. For my wife and I, it was our first time to venture into a clothing optional situation of any sort and we as you might imagine were a little unsure as to how this vacation would go. We needn’t have worried. It was amazing from start to finish. First off let me say that the owners are such wonderful, beautiful people and such top-notch hosts that we felt entirely comfortable the whole time we stayed in their home. There was never the awkward moment or moments you might expect to have in a socially nude situation (especially as it was our first nudist experience). We found this amazing couple so genuine and professional that we were immediately at ease; so much so that being nude about the house whether playing pool or shuffleboard, watching TV or outside in the gorgeously landscaped backyard, dipping in and out of pool felt completely natural and it actually felt unnatural to have to put clothes back on when we would go out to tour the local sights and attractions. We couldn’t wait to get back to Del Sol Lagoon and get “comfortable”. The property is perfect and found in a modern upscale, gated community. The home was beautiful with high ceilings, stone tile entry, and cozy well appointed furnishings. It was neat, clean and had a modern sophistication and was impeccably decorated inside and out. I commented to my wife at one point that it was like walking naked through a modern art museum (okay I was exaggerating a little). Privacy was never a concern at the home, we were able to relax without worrying about curious neighbors due to architectural elements and the properties hillside location. Nearby golf and tennis, beautiful parks, walking paths, outlet shopping were all within minutes of the residence. The food. Let me just tell you we were treated like royalty while at the home and that included eating like kings/queens. Gourmet breakfasts every morning. The food was unbelievable and would have suited a five star restaurant. Traditional breakfasts but with a delightfully novel approach that teased all your senses in the most delicious ways. Beautiful place settings. linen napkins, Starbucks coffee and fresh fruit made breakfast the highlight of each day. Things to do. So many attractions both near and within an hour or two drive. We toured Phoenix one day and had an awesome time in this delightful city. We spent a couple days in the red rock country of Sedona just an hours drive up the road and fell in love with it. We visited cute and quirky historical towns like Cave Creek and Jerome enjoying their unique shops and restaurants. We were never for a lack of things to do…but it was always such a treat to come “home” to our BandB and relax and unwind, to take a refreshing dip in the pool or a soothing soak in the hot tub. All we can say is “Thank you! We loved our visit and we will definitely be back!” – Bill & V from California
“Stunning home and exceptional hosts! Our first stay at a C/O B & B and what a wonderful experience. The home and pool/garden area were all pleasing to the eye and created a beautiful environment to unwind in after a long trip. The topper was the fabulous hosts. A unique and mouth watering breakfast awaited us each morning and after returning from a round of golf, a soak in the hot tub and then casual conversation around the fire pit. All this for the price of a mediocre hotel room. My wife and I will be back again in July and we can hardly wait. If you are traveling to Arizona – give it a try.” – A & R from California
“Words cannot describe how welcomed and comfortable we felt. Thanks to our wonderful hosts! Location was very convenient and the house and the rooms luxurious and comfortable, not to mention the patio and garden area, where we spent most of our time relaxing in the hot tub; we didnt want to leave! Definitely coming back on our next trip. Thank you.” – W & S from The Netherlands
“The facility was excellent, but as usual with B &ammp; Bs the hosts really make the difference and our hosts did everything right. They were warm, friendly, helpful, always there when we needed them but always respecting our need to quietly relax. They have an uncanny ability to go about their professional lives and still be responsive to guest needs. My wife and I now consider them good friends. I highly recommend AZ Lagoon.” – Tom from Colorado
“The hosts were wonderful and the setting fabulous. Writing an article for a national nudist publication about it and Casa Alegra in Florida as we speak. The home is beautiful, the tiny details perfect, the bedtime towel creatures on the bed every night, the ability to be left alone to work, the comfort of the home and the respect the hosts give the guests — even the oddball ones like us that don’t wake up before 10 or so and work at crazy hours. The experience was awesome, and we can’t wait to go back.” – Cat and Lee from Tennessee
“I can only echo all of the fantastic reviews of this place. You cannot go wrong. From the time you enter the door to the time you leave, you are treated as friends. Everything is at your pace with no expectations but wonderful and exceptional hosting. The pool area with spa…I stayed by the pool and enjoyed the experience for the three days I had booked. I hope that I can return with my wife and enjoy this experience with her. I am sure the host and hostess will make her stay as fantastic as mine was. Cannot wait to return to their wonderful resort.” – David from Washington
