Royal Kona Resort Reviews

The Royal Kona Resort is located in the center of Kona town. The hotel underwent a desperately needed refurbishment a few years back. Because of this we have now improved our rating to 3 stars. This resort is now a 3 star type hotel option in Kona. The hotel overlooks Kailua Bay which provides a backdrop of beautiful ocean views. The Kona Resort features an ocean-front luau, nightly entertainment, a freshwater swimming pool, a sundeck, a small sandy beach and four tennis courts. Within walking distance of the hotel there are many dining options shopping is all around. The Royal Kona Resort has a split-level pool overlooking the ocean and also has a shallow children’s pool.

436 rooms, 7 Floor building, large Pool, 3 Restaurants, Lounges, Complete Fitness Center, Health Spa, 13 Tennis Courts, Two Adjacent 18-Hole Championship Golf Courses, Nightly Entertainment.

Remarks:
"It is not the fanciest of hotels but for the price it was great. The food is great at Don the Beachcomber. The lobster rissotto with jumbo shrip and scallops is the best. The bar is beautiful and staff was friendly. Close to a lot of fun places and secluded enough to be romantic. I will go there again. Aloha." – Leslie from Mountain View, Hawaii
