The place has a very different feel to it. It has a lot of old buildings surrounding it. Apart from that, there is also a market which is decorated with Arabian lights near the creek. It sells Arabic, Turkish and Pakistani items. It is a mere delight to shop from there and not to mention the shop vendors’ bargain which makes the shopping worthwhile.
The area contains a lot of restaurants which serve Arabic food with shishas. It is an utter delight to sit at the waterside and have lunch or dinner. Also, the other fun element is that there are boat rides available which take you from Bur Dubai to Deira. The mosque also has two beautiful minarets which display the subtle stonework details. It looks gorgeous in the evening because the mosque is illuminated with different lights.
