Many of us adore the idea of travelling. Whether you’re planning to visit the visit the legendary Eiffel Tower in Paris, skydive in the south of New Zealand or explore the vast cityscapes of the United States, there’s so much to see and do in this world and so many people to meet, why would you not want to?

However, many of plan to leave on months of savings we’ve collected which can leave our budgets feeling very limited. But, why not take advantage of the way the world works and earn money while you travel? This can open up a whole new world of opportunities where the world really is your oyster!

Today, we’ll explore some of the best ways to earn money easily while you’re travelling.

Travel Blogger

As you’re travelling, you may as well use your experience to your advantage. There is a huge amount of travel blogs out there, some of which may have even inspired you to travel in the first place!

The best way to go about this is to contact the blogs directly, letting them know exactly what you’re doing and where you’re travelling and why you would be a great writer for them. To increase your chances of becoming accepted, it would be a good idea to include a sample of your writing style.

If they’re interested, set a frequency for how often you’re going to write and your price per word, share your contact and payment details and you’ll be ready to go!

Create Stock Content

While you’re out and about, the chances are that you’re going to see some pretty amazing once-in-a-lifetime views so why not share these experiences? Or better yet, why not get paid to shoot these experiences?

Stock photography is a huge industry, and if you’re travelling with a decent camera, this could be a great way to earn money. Unique perspectives of some of the best landmarks in the world are a great place to start, and there’s a tonne of marketplaces out there where you can upload and sell your images and videos!

You may have heard of the dream life of product reviews. These are people who have products sent to them through companies, use them for a predetermined amount of time and review their experience, all while getting paid for it!

However, thanks to modern day technology, you can do exactly same while you’re on the road. Many websites are on the hunt for people who can review websites and online services to provide feedback to improve or for the benefit of other customers.

Teach English

Depending on what part of the world you’re travelling to, you may find a wealth of opportunities where you’ll be able to teach English. One of the most common regions in the world for this is Asia and surrounding areas.

In most cases, you’re going to need some kind of qualification that you can achieve online using websites, such as PremierTEFL. You can get this before you go or while you’re out and about as, again, all you’ll need is a laptop.

There is a tonne of options you can use this degree for. You could teach in schools, you could run private classes, you could host one-on-one sessions, or you could even run private sessions through Skype, expanding your customer base to be anyone in the world!

One day you could be writing blogs, the next product descriptions, there are so many options available that it can even feel overwhelming! All you’ll need is a laptop and a trusty internet connection, and you’ll be good to go!

There are students across the world that have so many commitments that they simply don’t have time to complete their course’s assignments and essays. Many of these students are now turning to writers across the world to complete these tasks on their behalf.

This may be one of the most time-consuming ventures to set up, but it can also be the most lucrative. You’ll also have a constant income as long as your website is online. An affiliate store is a website that you sent up where you can review or list off products, effectively marketing on behalf of the company.

From there, online users who read your content will feel inclined to buy the product, making them click the link to the product (such as a page on Amazon) and will then buy the product. Once the sale has been made, you’ll receive a commission.

Commission varies from around 4-15%, but you’re not just limited to Amazon. There is a tonne of affiliate databases available for you to source products and services from all industries.

As before, this can take a lot of time to set up initially, but once set up, it’s there to stay and, if advertised properly, can be a steady source of income, even when you return from travelling!
