"Overall, if you are staying at the adults only side, you will need to check-in on that side. You will be hijacked by one of their staff to bring you over to that side. During the walk you will be asked to look at their Time-Shares so the rep can earn points. We didn’t do it. It lasts about an hour. The hotel has a policy about the adult-only areas. It’s not really restrictive. Kids came over to the adult only side of the beach, nothing happened.
Dress codes at the restaurants: The dress codes at the à la carte calls for smart casual. I assumed you dress up slightly. I was embarrassed seeing people not wearing shoes, wearing t-shirts, or allowing their kids to dress the same way. Why bother to have them if they don’t plan to have someone enforcing some semblance of a dress code.
Room was white walls with no pictures. On the first day there was a crushed spider on the blind. It stayed the whole time. Never did get cleaned. I circled it with the pen the morning we left. Staff…Amazingly friendly and awesome! Not once did we have a problem with staff!! They truly hold the glue together at the resort!
Food: This is where they lacked. Food quality was minimal at best. The two à la carte restaurants we ate at were the steak place Los Lirios, Mediterranean La Riviera. Sadly, my steak was mostly fat. At the Riviera I had the chicken with stuffed zucchini. No flavor at either meal. My wife’s meals were almost as bad. Sadly no flavor either." – Tom from Winfield, Illinois
"We enjoyed this resort very much. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are outstanding. We liked it so much we ended up purchasing 2 weeks at the resort. We highly recommend this resort." – Kim from Madison, Wisconsin
"This is not a 5 star but a solid-4 to 4.5. Our room was perfect. Food was good to great..This place is big so if you do not like to take strolls stay elsewhere. EVERYONE was helpful and friendly. I read some of the negitive reviews before I booked and after I got back and I wonder if they stayed at the same place I did. Their time-share program was unlike any that I had seen before. Can’t wait to go back!" – Perry from Winfield, Kansas
