"You can walk for hours on the beach. The waves are good sized. The rooms are nice, the kitchen adequate with a large refrigerator. A small grocery store is within walking distance. A caution here, if at check out you don’t have your bracelet they tag you with at check-in. You will be charged for it. Not a small fee either. The staff is great. I have to say, I accepted the timeshare spiel and saw the Grand Mayan, have now read reviews from the Grand Mayan and would pick Paradise Village hands down just for the beach and the somewhat less intense time-share pressure."
– Sharon from Westfield, Mass.
"The natural beauty of the ocean and surrounding hills is mesmerizing. What broke the trance, however, was the inhumanely tiny concrete cages in which full-grown tigers paced, on a well-traveled road in the center of the resort. Terrible animal management practices. Heartbreaking."
– Laurita from Olympia, Washington
"We love the place, yada, yada, yada and all that. What I really wanted to bring up is the reason why we buy time-shares. Paradise Village rates #10 of the 23 hotels in Nuevo. It’s a big but, 7 of the top ten rated cannot accommodate more than 4 person families. As we are a family of five we are always running into this roadblock where we need to book more than one room to accommodate us. With time-shares such as PV we never have to worry about whether we all fit. We know exactly what we are getting. This is our second time-share the other being Tahiti Village in Las Vegas and couldn’t be happier with our decision to purchase. We now take a two week vacation every year, anywhere in the world we want with the knowledge that we will have suitable accommodations wherever we go."
– Jeremy from Red deer, Alberta, Canada
"Be aware of the time-share and vacation club presentations. They don’t tell you the whole story and actually lie to you to get you to sign up. Be very careful. Ask many many questions. Vacation club is a point program that they don’t tell you. You find out when it is too late. Trading is very difficult." – Norman from Greendale, Wisconsin
"We love this resort so much we also went last time 2009 my daughter’s graduation. She took her 5 friends with us and every one enjoyed. We got 3-bedrooms. We went there so many times, the staff were very nice." – Sandy from Salt Lake City, Utah
