Aqua Cancun Hotel Reviews

The Live Aqua Cancun Hotel (formerly The Fiesta Americana Grand Aqua) is a newer 371 room, 5-star beachfront resort. The hotel was severely damaged by Hurricane Wilma and was totally refurbished and re-opened at the begining of 2008. The hotel has a new name (Aqua Cancun Hotel) and is even more spectacular. The Aqua Cancun is located in the absolute center of the Cancun hotel zone. Guests are generally sophisticated & hip and the ambiance is subdued and stylish. The massive pool area is the centerpiece of the hotel common area. Lounge music and waterfalls flow throughout. At night, a massive torch glows warmly on the pool deck. The Fiesta Grand is across the street from the Plaza Las Isla’s shopping center and 20 minutes from the Cancun Airport.

The Aqua Cancun Hotel has 4 restaurants and 4 bars. The Azur Restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining while MB’s offers American style food in a casual atmosphere.

Facilities:
371 Hotel Rooms, 8 inter-connecting pools with over-sized Jacuzzi, Swim-up bar, Poolside lounge & Towel Service, 4 Restaurants, Bar, Snack bar, Shops, Activities program. The Aqua Cancun also has a full Fitness Center and Spa, available for additional charge.

Remarks:
"Loved, Loved, Loved it…6 stars for me. The entire resort was so tranquil. The spa atmosphere and decor was gorgeous. Aromatherapy and spa music throughout the resort. The pools were large, some heated, some not. The rooms were spacious, with large bathroom area and they supplied you with aromatherapy oils, candles, and soaps. The season was slow and we practically had the place to ourselves. The beach was beautiful, clean and clear blue sea. The resort was across the street from an exquisite shopping center. There were a lot of restaurants and upscale shops. The food is a bit expensive in the resort, but I would recommend the breakfast buffet..It was fabulous." – Lori from Indian Harbor Beach, Florida
