Climb Diamond Head - The extinct volcano has stairs to the 760-foot summit. You drive into the crater and park your car. Then take the 1.4 mile hike up the stairs that climb 525 feet from the inside of the crater to the top of Diamond Head. It is a good workout, but worth it to see the beautiful panoramic view of Waikiki and the Pacific Ocean. Great picture taking spot.
Snorkel at Hanauma Bay - One of the best experiences Hawaii has to offer is snorkeling in the tropical Pacific Ocean with all the exotic and colorful fish. Hanauma Bay is one of the bet places to snorkel in Hawaii. The waters are gentle and shallow and there are lots & lots of fish to see. A great introduction to snorkeling and a nice beach to spend the afternoon. It is only 15 minutes from Waikiki. The least expensive way to get there is the city bus. It will take you right into the park. There are also many guided tours that will pick you up from your hotel.

Pearl Harbor - The largest attraction at Pearl Harbor is the WWII Battleship, BB63 Missouri. Take the tour of a real battleship. There are many tourist ships special harbor tours or drive to the Naval Base and take the tour provided by the Navy.
The Official Navy Tour is the only one that allows you to actually board the Arizona Memorial.

Polynesian Cultural Center - This theme park is made up of native villages common to Polynesia. Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa, Marquesas as well as Hawai'i. The authentic Hawaiian luau is one of the best on the island. The park is 35 miles from Waikiki on Oahu's peaceful and beautiful North Shore. All this makes the Polynesian Cultural Center is one of the top attractions on Oahu.
Paradise Cove Luau - Located about 30 minutes East of Waikiki in the Ko Olina area, the Paradise Cove Luau is a great evening of food and entertainment. A great show of the ancient ways of Hawaii, a great meal and lavish entertainment revue.

Visit the North Shore - Take a drive to the windward side of Oahu, or the North Shore as it is known. Once you drive 10 minutes from Waikiki, and you will think you are on another island. Quiet, peaceful, with beautiful beaches and lush vegetation.
Waimea Bay and Park - This famous beach is home to the world surfing championship. Be careful; it is dangerous for swimming, but awesome surf in the winter time. The Waimea Falls Park is a lush canyon with a great waterfall.
