Villa Armena Relais and Beauty Spa is a truly magnificent and incredibly romantic resort located in Buonconvento, 20km from Siena and right next to the world famous Montalcino. We have recently bought a wrecked Villa dating back to 1400 and we are transforming it in a superb Relais with 10 rooms, the smallest of which has a total area of 30m2 and the biggest of 70m2, plus a unique SPA with an indoor swimming pool and indeed a superb outdoor pool of 20m by 7m with a breathtaking view of the world famous Crete Senesi. On top of it Villa Armena will feature an outstanding gourmet restaurant - which will follow the "Slow Food" philosophy - and it benefits from its listed park of 3 hectares made even more amazing by a stunning garden Italian style which was designed originally by Baldassarre Peruzzi, the famous Renaissance architect who also built the Villa. The Villa would also represent the absolutely perfect location for any kind of happening such as a fashion show, a wedding, a special private occasion, an honeymoon, the shooting of a movie or indeed any other event which wants to be exclusive and absolutely unforgettable. Last but not least I am delighted to tell you that we have been recently picked by the London Times as one of the Top 40 Hotels for 2010 worldwide. The resort will open to the public in September/October 2010.
