Outrigger Royal Kahana

The Outrigger Royal Kahana condo is located just north of Kaanapali and south of Kapalua. The Royal Kahana Maui is on nice strech of beach. A bit narrow, but typical for this part of the island. This is the fone of the few condos in the 3 star range that give the feel of a hotel, rather than just a furnished apartment. The Outrigger Royal Kahana is built in a big "V". You enter from the Mountainside and sliding glass doors face the ocean for really spectacular views and sunsets. Upper floors have ocean-view but the lower floors view the gardens. Recently taken over by Outrigger Hotels Hawaii, the Royal Kahana Condo is a good moderate choice in the popular north Kaanapali area.

"This was my 1st trip to Maui and it is a beautiful island.I got lost going to the hotel at nite from the airport, and called for directions. The night clerk was accomodating and got me on the right path. When i finally arrived in my room it was very nice.i had a little trouble adjusting th AC and when i called down to the fromt desk was told the maintenance staff was gone for the day..i managed to figure it out on my own. The ocean view was priceless. The one disappointment was the beach .. the only beach entry from the pool area was not easily accesible and a little percarious. That needs to be improved. The staff was nice and professional and the experience of my 1st trip to Maui is memorable cant wait to come back." - Teri from Cincinnati, Ohio
