Occidental Hotel's Royal Hideaway Playacar Resort is a 5 star beachfront villa style property, located on 13 acres of one of the most beautiful stretches of beach on the Yucatan Peninsula. The Royal Hideaway features winding rivers, waterfalls & fountains connecting the main building to the villas. The Royal Hideaway Playacar is an excellent choice for those looking for the amenities of an all inclusive resort, but with a more intimate villa style atmosphere.

200 Luxury Rooms, 7 Pools, 5 Restaurants including buffett and Á la carte, 5 Bars, including a Cigar & Sports Bar, World Class Spa & Fitness Center, Jacuzzi, Lighted Tennis, Beauty Salon, Bicycles, Billiards, Shopping Arcade, Cards, Darts, Table Tennis, Video Library.

It is luxurious and they know how to make you feel special. We love everything about it is fabulous. The grounds are magnificient for such a small 13 acres area. The privacy on the grounds if you need it, the private pools. Great restaurants and entertainement. Attentive staff, they anticipate your needs. Its a small place of Heaven in a beautiful spot on earth. Love the wonderful Mexican nights by the pool. I cannot stop talking about the resort to by friends, and many of them have also shared their vacation experience at the Royal Hideaway, and they all felt the same way.
