"My family and I, we just came back from Royal Decameron in Bucerias (Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit) last night. We had a great time, we strongly recomend it and this place was worth it for the price we paid. There were few little things that we observed and the hotel needs to change 1) Do not allow people bring drinks around the pool or inside the pool because they spill them inside the pool and contaminate the water, especially when they are drinking color drinks. 2) Encourage people to rinse off sand before get in to the pools. 3) Provide international drinks. 4) Very difficult to make a reservation to the a la carte restaurants. People have to get up very early to get in line to make reservations. That is ridiculous because people are vacationing. Who is going to get up eraly in the morning to make a reservation? Anyway, the servers from the buffet restaurants were very helpful and extremely nice especially ENOC, Griselda and Alma. They provided us a excellent service. Rodrigo from the entertaiment/dance group was fiendly and nice. I would make a recomendation to watch out for the taxi cab station close to the resort. They take advantage of the tourist they want to charge a lot of money to take you to Puerto Vallarta. Please do not pay more than 200 pesos. Bargain with them if possible. Yesterday when I tried to excahnge money ($35) the cashier asked me for my passport. When previous days they didnt, I was unhappy, because when we checked in they register my passport number in ther system. The cahier was very mean. We are considering going back next year." - Josie from San Francisco, California

"I found the complex too spread over a large area, therefore requiring a lot of walking. The staff was very friendly even though many could not speak or understand english. When I would ask a question, often I would get a different answer from each worker. I was extremely disappointed with the TWO very arcaic computers located in only one lobby. First you have to stand in a long line up to purchase time on the computer, then another line to use the computer. The computer screen is written in spanish and very difficult to manage. Therefore using up time paid for before achieving goals. I talked with other guest who were given CODES to acquire wireless computer access in the lobby, but after spending much time asking for the same access (because I had my laptop there) and being told I could have it. They changed their mind and just gave me more time on their computers. Very disappointed. Having to go outside the compound to access wifi was very inconvenient. If you dont get to the restaurants early, there will be no fruit left at the salad bar! Snack bars(open while restaurants were closed)had cold, dried up foods that sat in warming trays, yuk! The resort was kept very clean by very hard working staff always. The edge of the pool was re-painted while I was there, and without warning...the edge was then extremely slippery! There is only ONE location in the complex to get a coffee when restaurants are closed. Wheelchair bound guests were NEVER told there was an elevator in ONE of the buildings. Building 5 surrounding the adult only pool is newer accomodations but the side next to the tennis courts is very loud until 3AM because of the live theatre and disco bar (I had earplugs)." - Leslie from Courtenay, B.C.Canada

"We stayed from June 27th to July 8th WOW!! We had such a great time. The check in was easy. We stayed in Block 3 which has an elevator (I don't walk well). Although I have difficulty with stairs and such, I did NOT have a problem with the size of this resort. NO there is no shampoo and such in the room, but I always carry my own. Most who use hotel shampoo complain anyway.... Always something to eat at the buffets. Reserving for the alacarte isn't bad. As for tours or excursions definitely go see Scott at Scotts tours. We saved $45 per person on the ATV tour. The best price I found on the Mexican blankets was at The Playa Mart, just off the Malecon. They were $4.00 each. Great place to eat and relax and enjoy a Corona in Mar Y Sol in Bucerias. We took the bus to Walmart, what an ADVENTURE. We will be planning another stay at this resort in March 2008." - Mike & Carla
