"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Club Hotel Riu Negril and we loved it. The staff was so friendly and always greeted you. The bartenders are also excellent. Take care of them and they will def take care of you. The entertainment staff was also great. They are out there 8am until about 1am with so much energy just having fun and making sure everyone else is as well. They have entertainment for children as well. The buffets were great and always had a larger selection. I can't wait to go back next year!" Nicole from Manalapan, Florida

"I made my reservations through bookit.com and was assured that this hotel was a great choice. Wow was I wrong. I went there for my birthday and it was a big mistake. Check-in was great. Kevoughn was great at his job, but it went down hill from there. The food sucked. The chef needs to be fired. This has been the worse food I have had in a long time at a hotel. The night we checked in there was a show and after that the guests were told, sorry, but the disco is closed all other entertainment finished for the night! The next morning was my birthday and I tried to make reservation for my finance and I at the gourmet restaurant and all restaurants were booked. We had to go off property for dinner. Thank heavens we had our own transportation. Well, we tried the next day to make reservation again for any of the restaurants and thats when I lost it. We were told sorry again all restaurant booked. I told the two young ladies a lot of indecent words. There were a lot of people in the lobby and they heard me telling off the staff how poorly the place is run and that everything sucked. Immediately we got reservation for any choice of restaurant. The staff tried to shut me up quickly. The jerk on the beach also horrible. I mean this has been my worse stay ever. The room was clean but the food and entertainment sucked! In the beach water, the sand feels like mud on our foot bottom. I would never recommend not even my enemy to stay there! I read a few bad reviews but did not believe it. Learn from my mistake. Even if I was given a free stay there, I would decline it. This is a one to two star hotel!!!!" Judy from Miramar, Florida

"The resort was just the right size. No complaints what so ever. Bars everywhere. Plenty of booze, you can ask for a little stronger if you like. Rooms cleaned each day and mini bar stocked every other. Main buffett was EXCELLENT, so no need to get up with the crazies to wait in line for an hour to get the specialty restaurants. We did one morning and got behind a best man and maid of honor at a wedding. They booked reservations for ALL who attended the wedding like 65 people. We didn't get a table. Didn't try again and I think they have to review the reservation policy. Pools and beach were great. Always found chairs and swim up bar was a nice touch. All the staff bent over backwards for us. You just have to be kind, patient and gracious. My experience, having been to Jamaica several times, is if you go to the front desk with an attitude....You are NOT going to get what you want. And honestly you shouldn't. Go with an open mind and soak it all in Mon. You're in Jamaica. Irie.!" Robert from Northampton, Pennsylvania
