Here is our Renaissance Wailea Resort Review:

The Renaissance Wailea Beach Hotel was recently purchased by Starwood Hotels and is scheduled to be converted into a Condo/Hotel. This vacation ownership concept is really taking hold in the Hawaiian Islands. This deluxe resort in exclusive South Maui will now be time-share based but will also offer a few rooms for hotel guests. We suspect the hotel will remain one of the premier accommodations in the Wailea area. The resort has beautiful grounds, nice pool area and is located next to the Wailea Golf Courses. The hotel has two Restaurants, a Lounge and shops. The Renaissance Maui offers the feel of a tropical resort, with it's 15 acres of lush landscaped gardens. The Renaissance Wailea Beach Hotel is a good choice for a deluxe resort hotel in South Maui area.

" Keep the Maui Onion. We have been coming to Wailea for years (20+) and this is the best restaurant for ambiance and food around there. The Maui Onion is a part of Wailea history. Please keep it !!!! " - Wendy from Seattle, Washington

"The hotel staff was absolutely lovely!! They were friendly, helpful, courteous and prompt. Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable, clean and pretty. We didn't eat at the restaurants, because they were a little pricey, but no more so than any other hotel. The grounds were beautiful and beach access was very easy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free vacation."
