Here is our Playa los Arcos Hotel Review:

The Playa los Arcos Hotel is one of the original Puerto Vallarta hotels. It is the most centrally located beach hotel downtown and the malecon. Shopping, dining & nightlife are only a short walk. The Playa los Arcos Hotel has the best beach of all the downtown hotels. The Playa los Arcos offers two restaurants, two bars, a beach club, two swimming pools, water sports, daily activities, a boutique, two semi-panoramic elevators, live music and dancing nightly. The Playa los Arcos Hotel in Puerto Vallarta is a decent choice for a budget hotel.

The staff was great, the room was pretty okay, but the children in the so called adult pool area were annoying and crowded as well as loud and messy. There is a childrens pool, but for some reason children seem to run the place. Very disappointed in that! The food is okay, but I reccommend eating in the surrounding town, lots to choose from. The room is okay, nothing fancy but comfortable and our view was spectacular on the 3rd floor facing the ocean. I would stay here again, but only if the pool was cleaned up and children were restricted to their own pool and not allowed to overun the adult area. The beach was great, the ocean nice and the service was teriffic from the staff there.
