This newer all-inclusive resort is located on the beach in Puerto Morelos, 30 minutes south of Cancun. It is also quite near the archeological sites of Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza. Water activities abound at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun Hotel with its four pools, including one especially for children. One of the pools is a a large lake-like swimming pool surrounded by a palapa village.

Remarks:
"We had everything we asked for and more! It was very very nice for someone that wants to relax and be in a spot that is very private. We didn't want to be where there was too many people with too many activities going on (like vegas) we wanted a very relaxing trip, with rooms that where right on the beach, and we got it. The only problem was that we didn't want to leave! It was way too short! We had a different scented pillow every night and they filled our jacuzzi tub prior to our arrival every night and put rose pedals on the bubbles on top. We did have the royal treatment with "service royal"! The one thing that happened that i was upset when we started was, I asked for one single bed. I did not want to sleep separate. When we got there, there was a room for us, but it had 2 beds. Just for your information, the beds are not attached to the wall like some hotels. We pushed the two beds together and we called it "the Cancun King." They made the bed every day just like it was one huge bed. I think next time i will ask for a room with two beds! We have been on many vacations and we love the Caribbean. we have been to Caymen Islands, Cozumel,St. Lucia, St Thomas, Antigua, Anguilla island, Princess Cayes, Barbados, and Jamacia and i think we had the most fun at the paradisus where the drinks flowed freely and our own personal reserved palapa (grass umbrella) on the beach. We can wait to go back!" - Russell from Newberg, Oregon
