Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach

The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is directly in the center of the Waikiki resort area. The Outrigger Waikiki is one of THE places to stay in Waikiki. The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach ihas completed a sizeable renovation that included a new pool and pool deck, enhanced soundproofing, new soft goods in guestrooms, electronic door locks and clear glass lanai railings on oceanfront rooms for improved views. The beach area in front of the hotel is a gathering place to see and be seen. The hotel lobby is full of dining and shops. Duke's Waikiki Restaurant is one of the great places in Waikiki to enjoy a meal. This hotel is a great facility, nicely appointed, but not stuffy or pretenious. The pool area is a bit smallish, but offers a nice area for sunning and offers beverage and food service poolside. Spend the morning swimming and sunning on the beach and then walk over to the pool later in day for drinks and munchies. The hotel has a rooftop day spa called the Waikiki Plantation Spa offering all the usual treatments and massages. The Outrigger Waikiki On The Beach is a favorite of many.

"This hotel is in the best spot! On a really cool beach with Dukes bar and grill on the beach behind the hotel. Food was EXCELLENT. Shopping is directly across the street at the International Market Place. The airport was only a 15 to 20 minute drive, Pearl Harbor was about 15 to 20 minutes. The road the hotel is on a busy strip with upscale shopping and restaurants. Parking is a wopping $25 a day! But that is valet and who cares? We were not scheduled to depart the airport until 8pm and had to check out at 1pm. The front desk was kind enough to watch our bags and allow us a room to shower in after our scheduled check out.
