"We took our three children, ages 10, 7 and 4 to this resort. We had the most magical time! I was apprehensive as only three stars, but it was fabulous! This is a wonderful resort for families. There were a lot of other children. We LOVED the nightly shows. They were great for the entire family. The staff is friendly and helpful. My children loved the kids club. They adored the kids club staff. The staff threw a pirates party on the beach where they fed the kids, played games and had a little show one evening. The kids loved that and I was so impressed with how much work the staff put into it. They painted the kids faces, had tables set up for dinner. Our kids had a blast. They also had crazy jump, zip cord, rock climbing. All of these were on a smaller level but my kids loved it. The pool area is beautiful. We spent most of our time by the pool as there werent chairs on the beach and as it is on the Pacific side, the sand isn't like the Caribbean side.
I would definitely go back. My girlfriend also took her three children in a group of twenty some and she has told me they loved it as well and everyone had a blast! We had a family suite. It was fine...nothing fancy but we were rarely in the room. Food was good...plenty to choose from...Pool food of burgers, fries, hotdogs for the kids or when too lazy to dress for lunch, dinner. We truly had a wonderful time. The staff treated our children so wonderfully which was very important to me. We did two excursions, pirate ship for the day...which was great but not for too young of children. My kids loved it! We also swam with the dolphins, which was very spendy but so worth it. Otherwise we had a great time at the resort...Took the bus and a cab to Walmart and the flea markets. The downtown boardwalk is so nice. Definitely go there one evening. It is beautiful at sunset! We were surprised how much time the kids wanted to be at the Kids Club. We had to pull them out at times to spend time with us! Bingo by the pool, water exercises, pool volleyball. It was perfect for our family. I could go on and on." - Heidi from Minneapolis, Minnesota
