Here's our Maya Palms Resort Review
The Maya Palms Resort is a scuba dive resort located about 150 miles south of Cozumel and 30 miles north of the Belize border. Specifically, about 30 min by cab from the cruise ship pier in the popular stop of Costa Maya. The Maya Palms is also adjacent to a world class diving reef known as the Chinchorro Banks (18 miles offshore).
Cruise Passengers: The Maya Palms Resort is a great option to get in some fantastic scuba diving for cruise passengers as it is only 30 minutes by cab from the cruise ship pier. They accommodate cruise passengers with day-dives and will schedule according to your ship's itinerary. Call ahead to make the necessary arrangements.
Facilities:
The Maya Palms Resort has a restaurant, pool and dive launch.

Remarks:
"I went to Maya Palms Resort for a recent scuba diving trip. It's a beautiful, private, all-inclusive resort located in the Costa Maya region of Mexico, about 4 hours south of Cancun. The pre-fixe menu is excellent and accommodations were excellent. There is a dive shop located on site, right next to a fabulous pool. The staff was super accommodating and makes you feel like extended family. I wish the beach was a touch cleaner but it was very windy all week so I'm assuming it normally is. The diving was awesome and we never saw another dive boat. It was an incredibly relaxing dive trip." - John from Detroit, Michigan
