Maui Vista Condo

The Maui Vista Condo is located in the South Maui resort area of Kihei. The area of South Maui has some really great beaches. The Kamaole Beach park I II & III are great areas to sun, swim and BBQ. The Maui Vista Condo is a good choice for those looking for budget condo accommodations. The property offers Studio & 1 bedroom units. It has three pools, a BBQ area, and six tennis courts. It is across the steeet from the Beach. Although, across the street from the beach, The Maui Vista Condo is in a great location for beach lovers.

"The close proximity to a good beach and the ability to see the ocean from the living area of the condo is great, but those are the only positive remarks I have for Unit 1412 of the Maui Vista. I would NOT recommend staying at this unit and would never consider returning. The unit is outdated, and in need of major renovation. Neither the washer or dryer functioned without major issues. The refrigerator is rusty and smells badly. There are not sufficient pots, pans, plates or utensils. Neither bedroom has air conditioning and the fan in the master bedroom malfunctioned and swung dangerously when in operation. The TV remote didnt work, the washer handle didn't work and our laundry was stuck in the machine. Only one in maybe 20 tries to use the dryer succeeded. The bathroom drain backed up and needed a plunger to correct the issue. The traffic noise as this unit faces the street is incredibly loud and disturbing at all hours of the day and night. I now understand why this was one of the only units available during the time I was looking for a rental. The landscaping and exterior of the Maui Vista buildings are well maintained and are appealing. I didnt have an opportunity to see any other units, so my review is specifically directed at Unit 1412." - Nina from Windsor, Canada

"We were initially checked in to the closest building to the road on the ground floor. The road is very close and traffic noise is maximal. The units are old and tired and need remodelling. No Air conditioning in bedrooms. If you leave the windows open, lots of noise from passersby and staff. Maui Vista moved us to the second building which is MUCH quieter, although again, no A/C in the bedroom and noise at night awakens. Peeling wall paper, plugged drains, not enough pots and pans. Very small barely adequate kitchen. All in all, Maui Vista is probably a good value though...just be very firm with the staff and dont settle for a room in the roadside building. The beach is close and good. Parking is adequate. Grounds are well maintained. Nice grills and tennis courts. But, Ill never go back." - Bob & Susan from Seattle, Washington

"We just returned from a week stay at the Maui Vista in Kihei. We made all of our travel arrangements with Hotwire.com and were very pleased with them. Our condo was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. TV, VCR, DVD, Stereo, A/C, Ceiling Fans, Fully equipped kitchen with newer appliances, washer and dryer, and much more.... The grounds at the Maui Vista are very well maintained. The pools are small but never crowded. Walking distance to some nice beaches. Close to shopping and dining. Parking was never a problem. Office staff very nice. Not a luxurious resort but a great deal for what you pay. Great for couples or families who want to go and enjoy Maui without spending a fortune." - Charles from Fresno, California
