"It is fair to say that the only corner which is not cut is price. When we arrived in our room the TV was broken and the drains did not drain. The second day the shower head fell off. The furniture was shabby and worn and the curtains did not close and the wallpaper was peeling off. The elevator call button on the Main floor was pushed out. Maintenance gets a resounding F. Food prices are outrageous at best. We paid $75 for $20 Chinese meal and $35 for an inedible breakfast. While staff was polite they were also somewhat inept. When we wanted to extend our stay an information person at the front desk said we could get a players club rate by calling the front desk. After on hold for an extended period we were told that we had to go to the players club. We waited in line for about half an hour only to be told that we had to go to the front desk again. Eventually we were helped but we wasted about an hour and a half - a very poor return for what was paid. " - Reynaldo from Sacramento, California

"A few friends and my self stayed at the Luxor a few weeks ago and we had a blast. As soon as we go there we went to our rooms that were overlooking the pool, a great view. We hung out at Tacos and Tequilas for a while because the guacamole was amazing and the beer was super cold. The Bodies and Titanic exhibits were right next to it so we went to both of them. The Bodies exhibit was something from out of this world. I have never seen anything like it before. It was very informative and a lot of fun. The Titanic exhibit was very educational. I have a lots of friends from back home that were super jealous of me going to the exhibit. The exhibit really gets you involved, something that was totally unexpected. We went to Rice and Co afterwards and had the best sushi in the world. It was so amazing. The server was super nice and I think he knew about as much as the chef did. The Criss Angel show was something I had never seen before either. I still want to know how he cut that girl in half and how he got those doves to be so tame. Great show and everyone show go see it. LAX is the place to be at night. The bottle service was spectacular. In the middle of the night, Darth Vader came out and served the DJ his bottle. It was a lot of fun. The security was on point and always there if we needed him. I defiantly recommend the Luxor to anyone going to Vegas anytime soon. I hope you have as much fun as I did." - Thomas from Peoria, Illinois

"The rooms were not clean. They have not been maintained at all. The wall paper was starting to peel, the carpet was dirty, bathroom floor was sticky (I washed the bathroon floor so I could take my shoes off to take a shower) and the door to the bathroom (inside and out) was dirty. It looked like it had never been washed. The bed spread was stained and the room smelled musty. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I paid premium for four rooms because I booked in February for an April stay. Not worth what I was charged and then I was charged an additional $29.00 after we checked out, for what I dont know. We didn't even drink the water that was in the room. So now I have to call and find out what that mystery charge was for." - Marilyn from Deerfield, Illinois
