Here is our Las Flores Beach Resort Review:

The Las Flores Beach Resort is a  Mexican-Style family hotel. By Mexican style, we mean to say that the resort is comfortable, with a family atmosphere. Not pretentious. The hotel is located right in the center of Gaviotas Beach near the downtown area, just north of the famous Mazatlan Malecon promenade. The Las Flores Resort upper floors offer great views of the ocean and Deer Island offshore. The Las Flores Beach Resort is located right in the heart of the Zona Dorado Mazatlan Hotel zone. The rooms were recently refurbished and have a unique small-arched brick ceiling. The brick arches lend an interesting feeling that you are more in an apartment than a simple hotel room.

The Las Flores Hotel has a nice restaurant that serves Mexican and seafood dishes. The food is quite good and is also very reasonable. They also have a smallish pool that offers beverage and snack service poolside. We give the Las Flores Beach Resort a three-star rating.

Independent vendors* offer beach horseback riding and para-sailing from the beach in front of the hotel. Which you undertake at your own risk. The Royal Villas Mazatlan is a good choice for a three star central Mazatlan hotel.
