Here is our Kamaole Sands Maui Condo Review:
The Kamaole Sands Maui Condo offers 315 spacious one and two bedroom family style units with complete kitchens. Nicely appointed for a 3 star property. The Kamaole Sands Condo complex is across the street from Kamaole Beach Park I, one of the best beaches on Maui. The Kamaole Sands Maui Condo also has maid service. This is a very popular condo with families.

"We traveled with 10 adults and 3 kids (13, 11 and 7) during the Thanksgiving holiidays. We rented 3 units. 1 one bedroom, 1 two bedroom and 1 three bedroom. As you may know these units are individually owned therefore none of them compare to each other. The unit I was staying in was the three bedroom unit. Ours was by far the best of all 3. It was nicely upgraded with stainless appliances and a cool tiki bar. The 3rd bedroom was a loft with its own bath and TV up. No units have central ac. (Im from Houston and need an AC). They do however have window units. Only problem is there is typically only 1 unit. My room had 2 uits and the master was very comfortable! My parents room was cool but the carpet was stained and in need of replacement. My sisters room was the dirtiest. Cracks in the countertops, pubic hairs in the shower, sticky floors, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and just gross. She had to get a new room. After a while of back and forth with the front desk they got a new room and it was clean and smelled good. You need to understand that for the money...the location is awesome! Directly across the street are the Kamaole beaches. I think there are 3 of them. The best snorkeling we experinced on the whole trip was located o the beach across from the hotel with the purchase of a $6 mask from the general store down the street. (not the dive shop they are 5x as much) We saw numerous fish and a HUGE Sea Turtle. My sister and her family paid to go on the Molokini Crader guided snorkel trip and were not even able to make it to the crader due to high winds. The pool and hot tub area was very relaxing after a long day. High 5 on the hot tub! Compare these to old beach houses with a cleaning crew. Don't expect fancy accomodations or the best of customer service....just rely on a cheap place to crash in an excellent location!"
