The Kaanapali Beach Hotel is of the original resorts located in the West Maui area of Kaanapali. This ocean-front resort is on one of the best beaches on Maui. The Kaanapali Beach Hotel is officially recognized as the "Most Hawaiian of Hotels." This translates into a Hawaiian hospitality, and a genuine feeling of Aloha that welcomes you. The free nightly Polynesian Hula show is a family favorite. The Kaanapali Beach Hotel imay be an older hotel, but is still very popular and well run.

My 3 sisters and I took our Mom to Maui for her 70th birthday. It was the BEST time we had ever had. One of the reasons for this was the Resort and their staff. The ancient elevator rumbles up and down, day and night and sounds exactly like a roller coaster coming through. When we asked for something to be done, the management said they would turn the elevator off. And they did turn it off--from 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 in the morning for one night. This establishment almost managed to ruin our first vacation in three years and our son's wedding. Never again! " - Christina, from Viola, Idaho
