The Iberostar Tucan Resort was the first Iberostar introduced to Mexico. It has made its mark on the popular resort destination as one of the best! This popular All-Inclusive resort is spectacular, with 28-acres of jungle, stone walkways that weave through a tropical jungle with lagoons. Enjoy a refreshing pool with swim-up bar, or the huge three section pool in an oasis on the edge of the jungle. The Iberostar Tucan Resort is approximately 30 miles from the Cancun Airport, just a few minutes from Playa del Carmen, and adjacent to an 18-hole golf course.

The staff and food was fantastic - the grounds were beautiful and fun to see all the monkeys and native animals in the jungle during our nightly walks to dinner. My sister got married there, and they had a beautiful wedding and reception. The only negative: the water was a little dirty and cold (February), and there were ants in our first floor room. Also, the beds were very hard, but the staff can bring guests a pillow-top foam pad to put on top if requested.
