Remarks:
"TWe walked into the Iberostar and immediately fell in love with this hotel. This particular Iberostar has two hotels in one. The restaurants, pool, show room are all shared the both hotels. The names are "Iberostar Tucan" and "Iberostar Quetzal." We were given a room in the Quetzal section - one building away from the beachfront rooms. We couldn't get any closer to beach unless we paid for a ocean-front room. I was very happy. The Iberostar is a TOP Quality hotel. If you don't know anything about this particular hotel, check it out. It's like living in a jungle. There are monkeys in the trees, fountains, peacocks, flamingos, turtles, chickens, roosters, parrots and tucan birds. The restaurants have fountains/waterfalls around them. The two lobbys are open air, beautiful and dimly lit at night, as well as the little paths that lead to the rooms, which are all thatched hut buildings. Actually all of the building within the entire resort are all thatched roofs. The beach is just as nice as the beach at Sandos. The people at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. Our Lomus rep at Iberostar, Joel, was just as helpful and friendly. Again, I want to thank Funjet Vacations for making it possible for us to change our hotel to the Iberostar Tucan and for the great customer service that they provided to us as customers." - Kay from Gaithersburg, Maryland

"The people were awesome...meaning entertainers, food, rooms, pool, waiters. Believe me everything was awesome. If you go there I garantee you will go back. Iberostar Quetzel Tucan is a paradise. 5 minutes to beautiful Playa del Carmen. Also could take ferry to Cozumel, . could go visit Cozumel Iberostar, eat there for free. Try it it's worth your money." - Lino from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Remarks:
"Our first trip to an all-inclusive. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Grounds were beautiful and the wildlife was a wonderful surprise. Our daughter was married in the jungle venue which we liked because it was more private than the beach venue. The beach was one of the most beautiful in the area. Our favorite restaurant was La Gondola on the Iberostar Quetzal side. Great entertainment. It was a wonderful experience and will lead us to look at visiting Iberostar resorts in other parts of the world." - Cathy from Milwaukee, Wisc

Remarks:
"What a great all-inclusive resort! The staff and food was fantastic - the grounds were beautiful and fun to see all the monkeys and native animals in the jungle during our nightly walks to dinner. My sister got married there, and they had a beautiful wedding and reception. The only negative: the water was a little dirty and cold (February), and there were ants in our first floor room. Also, the beds were very hard, but the staff can bring guests a pillow-top foam pad to put on top if requested. Overall, a great experience!" - Debbie from Littleton, Colorado
