Holiday Inn Los Cabos Resort Reviews

The Holiday Inn Los Cabos Resort (formerly the Presidente Los Cabos Hotel) is in the quiet area of San Jose Del Cabo. The resort is located on the beach, but you cannot swim in the ocean here due to a very strong under-tow current. The Holiday Inn Los Cabos is an all-inclusive resort which means all your food (buffet style and two dining rooms) and drinks are included in the price of the room. The Cabo resort was renovated in 2000 and has a nice low-key, relaxing feel to it. It is not a wildly active resort. Great place to unwind, read and catch some sunshine. The InterContinental Holiday Inn Hotel Cabo has a great pool area with swim-up bar and lounging area.

"The resort was beautiful. Rooms were clean. There are 5 or 6 restaurants, but not all open at one time. That was a little disappointing. The buffet is always open for dinner and it does have good food. There are only a choice of 2 for ala carte. For breakfast there are 2 with the exact same food choices. For an all-inclusive, the food was good. They require long pants for men at the ala carte, but many were in shorts. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Weather was beautiful. A little chilly in the evenings--take a jacket and/or sweatshirt. It went down into the 50's. The beach was big and nice, but you could not go into the water. Bad under-current. The waves were wicked. A couple times I thought I heard thunder. It was the waves rumbling. No safes in the rooms but there are safety deposit boxes in the lobby. "Food less than expected for a 4+ resort. Little or no wait staff on the beach.Bars understaffed and close early.No late night snacks.Front desk and concierge very good.Staff(what there was very good).Had a better experience at the Royal Solaris and the Crown.Probably wont go back to this place.Once I finished off the bottle of Jack Daniels they had it was rot gut after that." - Mark from Sherwood, Wisconsin
