Honokahau Harbor

A real nice beach to lay out and catch the rays. Just north of Kona and south of the airport. At the Kona Harbor. Keep right around the marina and parking area to the gate at west end. A short walk to the beach.

Directions - Route 19 north 9.3 miles to sign on left, then 1.7 miles to Park.

Mahukona Beach Park

Not a sand beach, but great snorkeling. Directions - Route 19 north to left on Route 270, then 8.7 miles to left at Mahukona sign, then .5 miles to Park.

Route 19 north to the left at junction of Route 270, then .2 miles to left at Spencer Beach sign, then to beach.
