"I must say I only have compliments about this resort! When we were approaching the place, we felt the nature all around us. Along the entrance way you'll be surrounded by jungle and mangroves that help you understand that you have now arrived to paradise! With my lazy spanish, I tried to speak with our driver, but he gently (and accurately I must say) switched to English for better communication. The Hacienda Tres Rios is, as it was described over the web, totally luxurious! The lobby, the pool area and the rooms or suites were really nice! All the services and the food were first class! I couldn't help myself and started questioning a very kind concierge about the concept of eco-friendliness and all the awards the resort has received. He explained to me that we had our private nature park inside the resort! We practiced kayak, snorkel, they even have cenotes in there! The hotel was constructed without affecting any natural areas and that all the mangroves are under the structure of the hotel, causing them no harm! Besides this, they have programs with the 'Green Team' to show guests how to protect the environment. I think Ive exceeded myself with the review :) Just to finish, visit Tres Rios!
