"Glen Eden has always been my resort(club) ever since I found out about that there were others that enjoy the nudist lifestyle as I do. If I could, I would love to live at this resort but I have kids and can't live at the resort full time. So for now I will just enjoy the resort. Keep up the great work Glen Eden Sun Club! But, needs more youth and teens there like in the past." - Ralph from California

"This place is dated or should I say outdated. The staff is friendly, however the old residents and regulars are rude and grouchy. They do not welcome younger guests and it is obvious they do not like anyone they do not know. I brought my family here many times in hopes it might get better the more we came. Wrong! I have never seen any group of OLD haters in my life. They hate kids or anyone younger than 50. I will not renew my membership neither will our neighbors and the family we brought with us. Glen Eden Sun Club...if your keeping score..you just lost (9) Nine Gold pass memberships. Just sad." - Scott from California

"I started going to nudist resorts near Los Angeles a year ago and of the ones I went to, Glen Eden was by far the best. A couple in the area did not admit single males so I was not able to go. Being a nudist is fun, but if you think youre going to see lots of hot sexy body parts you're in for a dissappointment. The pool area is nice, the restaurant and food is good for me, and overall, I like the place. Sure, it could be somewhat better with a better selection of women to look at, but it could also be FAR worse! I like going for walks around the place, wearing nothing but a pair of shoes. It's a really neat feeling to do that. One other surprise Check out Glen Eden and see if you like it yourself!" - Nunya from California

"I have been going to Glen Eden for eight years, so I love the place. I am what they call a Gold Seal member because, while I do not live there, I can come and go as I please. Visitors will pay a gate fee for several visits, then must join at some level to continue visiting the resort. The resort is set back from the road quite a ways and there is plenty of mature landscaping. There is a large outside pool and larger than normal hot tub area. There is also an indoor pool, which is nice in the cooler winter months when the outdoor pool is not heated. All volleyball play is in the inside pool. There is a restaurant/cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekends and lunch only during the summer months during the week. The food is very good, but not gourmet and it is not a huge menu. Prices are very reasonable. Glen Eden has a very active social calendar. Something is going on each weekend. If theres not a band dance, there will be disco music. There are many themed events like Nudestock (summer), Halloween, Valentines Day, New Years bash, etc. There is rarely a charge to attend any of these dances and it is a very fun atmosphere. If you want to stay overnight there are many options. If you have a trailer or RV there are sites with electricity and water. There are dry camp areas. There are rental trailers and rooms. There also are a couple of duplex units that are very nice. Prices range from about $45 for a room to about one hundred dollars for a large trailer. Reservations are a must, as they are always busy! My husband and I have found most people are friendly and very nice. If you visit Glen Eden's web site, www.gleneden.com there is a coupon offer for a free first visit! (worth around $50 if you are a couple!) Age-wise, there are more age 50 plus than under 30, although all ages are represented. Glen Eden is not a "plush" resort, but is large enough to offer privacy and quiet for those wanting it, or many social activities if you want to participate. I would highly recommend this nudist resort to first timers and to well traveled nudists. You won't be disappointed!" - Mary from California

"It's not a resort per say. It's nice however, it lacks a resort style feeling. The food is OK. We ate outside of the club or bought groceries. Good luck getting food during the week. They had one lady taking orders and cooking the food and the menu was very limited. The clubhouse if you want it call that, was very small. It was like being in a elementary school auditorium. The shower and bathroom facilities were clean but could have been cleaner. Most of the members were nice, but the place was thick with politics. Apparently its a member run board. It was like listening to condo association politics. This place Glen Eden is far from being Eden. We will not be returning. We rather go nude at the beach." - R.J. from California

"I first went to this resort in 1983. At that time there were many more, and certainly younger people there than this time. All we saw the entire day was a handful of elderly, but generally friendly people. Like a Sun City for nudists! Nobody under 40 it seemed and the rates were like $50 for the 3 or 4 hours we stayed. Probably won't go back. Kinda boring." - Jay from California

"I had a bad experience, but after reading other reviews here it makes sense. If you are young, especially in your 20s - beware. I had returned from a 2 yr consulting tour during the Iraq war...I was fresh off the plane and just glad to be back in California - so I purchased a year membership, a camping tent and regretted it. I was accused of taking pictures with me cell phone - when approached by staff I tried to explain that I do not have a camera on my cell, or any other type of camera. I remember feeling so shitty about being accused of something I did not do. I was told a large black female had complained. I was simply trying to catch up with technology and learning how to use a modern cell phone...I never went back and my whole year membership went to waste." - Gary from California
