"This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The rooms are run down dirty and disgusting. Stains all over the couches and chairs. The bathroom shower sprayed water everywhere except out of the nozzle. This is the tip of the iceberg. Now for the food, road kill 101. You get a little worried when the title of food says "beef." What the heck is that. You probably eat better in prison and I'm sure its cleaner. How about the view...it's an abandoned apartment building between the beach and the resort. They don't show you that do they? How about the staff, well they never did anything, so its hard to rate something that didn't happen. Oh ya, your all inclusive bar closes at 10:00. Real nice for $152.00 a night." - Barry from Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada

"Stayed here with friends for two weeks..absolutely loved it. The atmosphere of Mexico rather than a highrise tourist hotel. Very reasonable price, safe, clean and friendly. Food choices were unbelievable and so nice to have everything fresh. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Quiet and nice to relax at but you can afford to go out a lot to experience other things. I would definitely stay here again." - Liesa from Vernon, British Columbia, Canada

"I spent a week at the Costa Club Punta Arena and it was a pleasure. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. They really made me and my family feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The only thing that spoiled it was the bitching from my fellow Canadians that expected 5-star service in a 2-star hotel. " - Steve from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

"I just came back from the worst vacation ever had. This hotel was recommended by the travel agency who never told that it was a 2-star hotel. They told was a Beach resort. First the employees attention is terrible. Rooms are disgusting, dirty, A/C is broken, restaurant food is like jail quality, the hotel is right next to a nasty river and the sea-view is blocked by the abandoned contruction of a 15 story building. The internet page have pictures that show a clean, nice hotel, the reality is a horrible place. Do not stay in this hotel as you are going to frustrate your vacation." - Rafael from Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico

"The Costa Club Punta Arenas was a big disappointment. What no pictures or review show you is that there is a half built concrete frame of a 12 story resort that blocks the view from the hotel to the beach and the resort right next door is broke down and not kept up. It is really rundown, the staff are unhelpful (and actually are actively unhelpful), and in general all the people staying at the hotel seemed unhappy and rightfully so given how terrible the hotel was." - Cate from San Francisco
