"It was my first time at Club Med on July 6th but was excited to give it a try since I wanted to take a vacation with my 17 year old daughter. We flew in from Texas and were just ready to enjoy the resort. As we pulled up we were impressed with how welcoming the reception team was and how there was an abundance of things for us to do as a family. Most of the things about Club Med I liked so it is ashamed that one thing had to ruin it. First all the positive things and there are many; We spent most of our time at sailing and it was not only to just sail but it was our favorite part of the village. The staff at sailing were always ready and eager to not only help us but entertain and conversant with both my daughter and I. Another positive point was that we really enjoyed the shows and the dances we would do after. My daughter loved doing the Zumba and spending time with Alexander and Kimberly (who were so warm and full of energy). Before lunch we loved the pool dances and Matthew was great on the microphone getting everyone motivated. The one thing that I didn't appreciate and it ruined the end of my trip was that when doing archery my 17 year old daughter was hit on and flirted with right in front of me. While not giving attention to the other guests that were at archery. My daughter does look older but I felt that the color of her bracelet said it all and the staff should respect that. We would go to the bar to speak with the other guests and staff, but still this staff member gave too much (inappropriate) attention to my young daughter which made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe to the point where I needed to keep a closer eye on the situation (which was not enjoyable for vacation). So I guess I am torn if I would go back because there were many positives but the company has to be careful and make sure the male staff understands the boundaries of what is appropriate." - Thomas from Austin, Texas

"As for staff members at that resort, you can't give one rating. So, here they are either by category: Niko (runs FandB) is awesome. He gets the concept of service. The head chef is wonderful. Hes doing the best he can with the whole buffet option. The food was actually good. The other dining staff was also good. The bar staff was also good. As for everyone else, especially the front desk managers and the daycare staff, they all need lessons in customer service. I cannot begin to explain the poor service. To compensate for overbooking one night, they did us a "favor" by upgrading us for a night, making us move not once, but again the next day. FAIL At daycare, they gave my baby the wrong formula (she has milk allergies) and ended up getting a rash. Then, they denied the whole thing saying "both bottles were the ones you gave us" but I only gave them one. Our infant was only there an hour (just enough for us to take one dip in the pool). Do NOT put any kids under 5 in the daycare program. They mixed up the day of departure, even though I reconfirmed it three times. I also reconfirmed (three time) I needed a transfer that could accommodate baby seats. By the third time, they were so rude saying "I know, you have baby seats." When the van showed up, you guessed it, he couldn't accommodate baby seats. Thinking about Club med Sandpiper? Think again. " - John from New York City, New York

"Just returned from a great week at this resort. The staff was great...very helpful, friendly and the GOs were fabulous with my daugher(8). Myself and my son(14) are very picky eaters and there was always something on the buffet that we liked. My idea of sitting poolside with a drink and doing nothing was quickly replaced with all the activities that were available, including my first time on the trapeze and sailing. This resort is very family oriented and the kids were included in everything. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a family vacation and look forward to planning our next visit!" - Wendy from Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada
