"My husband and I just finished 12 days at the most lovely place you can imagine! We were concerned about being bored staying in a BandB for this long, but it was the most fun we have had in years! At their suggestion, our hosts picked us up at the airport instead of renting a car...good choice as the traffic is a bit overwhelming in the beginning. We arrived safely at Casa Encantado to find an immaculately clean and modern home that is a lovely blend of old Mexican and European decor. Our suite was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the casita that is right next to the pool and sunning area...very private! Out hosts gave us information about all of the day trips we could take to see the sights of the area and do some shopping. Shopping was everything from Rodeo Drive style fine shopping in Guadalajara, to traditional Mexican fine art and craft items in Tonala and Tlaquepaque. They even arranged a private driver for us to use during our stay...it was so nice to just let Lupe drive so we could enjoy the sights and a margarita or 2 at lunch! He knew exactly where to go and even arranged shipping of some large items we bought. The local people were so friendly! We had heard of problems in Mexico, yet we never felt any concern about our safety. While we were there, our hosts made arrangements for my husband to have some dental work done. We nearly paid for our trip with what he saved over the cost of the same treatments in the US! And the care was excellent! We will definitely be back to Casa Encantado...12 days was not enough to enjoy all the area has to offer and still find time to relax by the pool!" - Ann from Texas

Most of the time we just lay there and enjoyed the beauty and wished we could be the ones living there full-time. Home was immaculate and we were treated as friends staying and not just guests. "My wife and I arrived at the Guadalajara airport to be met by the most charming couple...our hosts for the week. After a 45 minute drive from the airport, we arrived at Casa Encantado BandB which is a beautiful home with lush gardens surrounding the very private pool area. The views from the terrazzo and mirador looking out the Lake Chapala and the Sierra Madre Mountains was breathtaking. Our hosts treated us like long-lost friends and made sure we were comfortable in their lovely home. The breakfasts were scrumptious and served in the most wonderful settings around the home...someplace different each morning! We felt absolutely comfortable being nude anywhere on the property...the privacy was wonderful. After a 4 days of sunbathing, relaxing, spa treatments, sightseeing and shopping in the local towns and villages, we had to leave to return to normal life. We have stayed at many BandBs and we will definitely return to Casa Encantado B and B...it is simply the best!" - Ford from the USA
