Here's our Barcelo Colonial Review
The Barcelo Colonial Beach Resort is the newest all inclusive hotel in the popular Barcelo resort complex on the Riviera Maya. Its name comes from it's Colonial Mexican style architecture which is melded as a beach resort. This Riviera Maya all inclusive resort is simply fabulous. The Barcelo hotel complex just north of Xcaret and on a mile long stretch of white sand beach. Lounge by one of the three large pools or enjoy an afternoon under one of the many palm trees shading the beach. The Barcelo Colonial Beach Resort is usually priced reasonable for such a fine quality all-inclusive resort.
Facilities: 480 rooms, Barcelo Colonial is an all-inclusive which means all meals/snacks and unlimited domestic drinks until 2:00 am. 6 restaurants, 6 bars, 24 hour room service (fee), nightly entertainment, three swimming pools, gym, spa (fee), non-motorized water sports and six tennis courts.

"This was my first time out of the country and words can't describe how amazing it was there. It was beautiful. There was nothing but friendly helpful staff. I am going to be returning in the spring of 2008 and I can not wait to go back and see some of the people i takled with while I was there. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!!!!
