Here's our Aqua Cancun Hotel Review
The Aqua Cancun Hotel (formerly The Fiesta Americana Grand Aqua) is a newer 371 room, 5-star beachfront resort. The hotel was severely damaged by Hurricane Wilma and was totally refurbished and re-opened at the begining of 2008. The hotel has a new name (Aqua Cancun Hotel) and is even more spectacular. The Fiesta Grand is across the street from the Plaza Las Isla's shopping center and 20 minutes from the Cancun Airport.
The Aqua Cancun Hotel has 4 restaurants and 4 bars. The Azur Restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining while MB's offers American style food in a casual atmosphere.

"Loved, Loved, Loved it...6 stars for me. The entire resort was so tranquil. The spa atmosphere and decor was gorgeous. Aromatherapy and spa music throughout the resort. The pools were large, some heated, some not. The rooms were spacious, with large bathroom area and they supplied you with aromatherapy oils, candles, and soaps. The season was slow and we practically had the place to ourselves. The beach was beautiful, clean and clear blue sea. The resort was across the street from an exquisite shopping center. There were a lot of restaurants and upscale shops. The food is a bit expensive in the resort, but I would recommend the breakfast buffet..It was fabulous." - Lori from Indian Harbor Beach, Florida

"When James and I stayed in October we were hit by Hurricane Wilma.. the staff was super nice and had us all calmed with no worries. Even when we were at the shelter it was still 5-star all the way. They had a room that they decorated enough to have the calm like atmosphere where they played music and gave 30 min. massages - They all tried there best to keep us well feed, but once the generator ran out of fuel we were stuck eating sour food..( great diet :). We did end up loosing our luggage from the storm but were promised to get it back in time - sure enough 2 months later are bags were delivered to our home in Colorado with nothing damaged.. James and I will be returning for our one year anniversary in june. Thanks again for all that you guys did to make our trip as safe and comfortable as possible." - Brittany and James from Debeque, Colorado

"I had a wonderful experience at the Aqua Cancun Resort. At arrival we were presented with cold wash cloths and cold tea. Our bags were taken to our rooms that overlooked the pools and beach. I needed some medicine from the drug store and our attendant took the extra step to get it for me and delivered it to my room. We stayed our first 3 nights at the Ritz down the street and missed our plane so came to Aqua to stay another night in Cancun. I would have to say that I was much more impressed with Aqua (which was a bit cheaper) than with the Ritz. Thank You for the wonderful stay I would definitely return and stay at Aqua Cancunagain and again." - Marissa from Crecent City Calif.
